Rip It A’Tomic Pom

Posted in Reviews with tags , , , on 01/24/2011 by Brett

Last drink from the Rip It family I would like to review: A’Tomic Pom. Many companies are beginning to get into distributing pomegranate flavored drinks, which is an excellent idea. After all, pomegranates are good for you, as well as delicious. This drink is no different. Well, except for the high fructose corn syrup. It definitely tastes good and kept me energized to do what I needed to do that day. But I have to be honest: Rip It’s Sugar Free drinks taste better than their regular drinks. Sounds bizarre, I know, considering it’s usually the opposite. The thing is I could only find the sugar free of Rip It’s Original and Citrus X flavors at the grocery store I went to.

I’m not saying I dislike this flavor. But I am saying the sugar free version probably tastes better.

Rip It Lime Wrecker

Posted in Reviews with tags , , on 01/21/2011 by Brett

Another day, another review. Sticking with the Rip It line of energy drinks, I chose to review its Lime Wrecker flavor. In my mind, they used the term “Wrecker” in a figurative sense. The reason I say that is because the flavor certainly wasn’t wrecked. It tasted awesome! You don’t find many, if not any, lime-flavored drinks out there. And just like grape, you just can’t screw up lime. At least that’s my opinion. And it kept me going for a while, which was great, because I needed to move a bunch of furniture. So give it a try!

Rip It Citrus X Sugar Free

So I tried another member of the Rip It family. I decided to try their “Citrus X” Sugar Free flavor. And like most other citrus drinks I know, it tasted exactly as advertised. I’ll admit, I have had other citrus drinks that were better tasting, although this one was certainly no slouch. By no means was I disappointed. Definitely liked the flavor to this one. It was nice, crisp and clean. I would certainly go for another one again.

Rip It Sugar Free

Posted in Reviews with tags , , , on 01/14/2011 by Brett

Found another energy I have been wanting to try for some time. This one is called Rip It Sugar Free. As energy drinks go, this was one of the least-expensive ones I have seen. The can advertises it for $1.09, but the store I bought it at had it on sale for 99 cents! Can’t go wrong with that. And the best part is it doesn’t taste like an energy drink that someone spent five minutes throwing together either. I would say it kind of tastes like Sprite or 7-Up, but with the caffeine and minus the sugar. Besides the usual B Vitamins you will find in energy drinks, this one also has 100% of your daily value of Vitamin C per 240 mL (8 fl. oz) serving! It also has folic acid, which is very important in a diet.

So give Rip It Sugar Free a try. You’ll be glad you did!
