Blade Energy

This is another drink my brother brought from the US and is only exclusive to CVS Pharmacy. Blade Energy comes in a black can accented in electric lime green and silver. Must say, it’s quite edgy. But more impressive than the design of the can was the drink itself. It has a green apple and pineapple flavor to it. Nice aroma when you open the can as well. To me, the scent of a drink, food, etc. is always important, because that means it will also taste good. And I will have to say: The green apple and pineapple collaboration works perfectly. Has a nice sweetness with a little sour. Can’t really describe it any better than that.

For those who are fans of Monster Energy Drink, this one tastes very similar to the original Monster. Nevertheless, I recommend this drink.

  1. […] Turbo So I was bargain hunting again, as the majority of us have probably been doing during these tough economic times. I looked through a flyer for one of Canada’s most recognized drug stores, Shoppers Drug Mart, and noticed they have an energy drink exclusively to their stores. This one is called “Turbo.” Very cool name, due to the fact it’s an energy drink. One can is only $2 (That can be either US or CDN, by the way, now that our dollar is on par). So I figured I have nothing to lose except a couple bucks on something I haven’t tried before. It seems to me more and more drug stores have energy drinks exclusively to them. Another example is CVS Pharmacy in the US, where Blade Energy Drink is sold only there. For my review on Blade, please click here. […]
