AMP Energy

Hey Gang,

Finally back after a week away. A few people have wondered when I would be reviewing anything from the AMP Energy line-up. Well, good news: The first review is today!

The gas station eight blocks from my house had a special going on where you can get two cans of AMP for $4. They had four flavors of AMP Energy there, so I grabbed all four!

The first one I tried was the original AMP Energy (Formerly Mountain Dew Energy and Dew Fuel). For you NASCAR fans, AMP Energy is the official sponsor of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s #88 car! But enough free publicity for now: Onto the drink itself. AMP Energy tastes just like Mountain Dew, except it contains B Vitamins, Taurine and Ginseng. I have always liked Mountain Dew and my opinion of AMP Energy is the same. Great citrus flavor, but this one kept me going throughout the day. And even after my posting on items containing High Fructose Corn Syrup, it’s still a good drink. But as I stated in my last posting: Food and drink manufacturers are looking at putting cane sugar in drinks in time. It may jack up the price a little, but I’d rather that than potentially harming my health. Still, it’s a good drink.

Tomorrow: AMP Energy Overdrive!

Be sure to also check out the AMP Energy website please!
