Java Monster Loca Moca

Happy Fourth of July to all of my American readers! A while back, I had decided not to add posting to the blog over the weekend. But seeing as I missed this past Friday, I know I owe all of you and apologize for the delay.

Today, we will be reviewing Monster’s Loca Moca. This is another coffee energy drink in the Monster line-up. Judging by the name “Loca Moca,” this one is supposed to be coffee with a hint of chocolate. Definitely had a nice scent to it, as coffee in general usually does for me. But the taste? I could taste the chocolate, but it wasn’t really satisfying to the palate. The texture wasn’t chalky, but it wasn’t something I would intentionally swallow again. I have to be honest: I enjoyed Rockstar’s Mocha flavor more than this one. Even after Rockstar and Monster switched between Pepsi and Coke, Rockstar seems to be better, whereas Monster is a hit and miss with certain flavors.

Tomorrow’s review: Java Monster Mean Bean.
